So we’re working on Summer, can you believe that? It’s not even thanksgiving and we’re already working on Summer. So last friday, we had a lil project runway at an offsite. Given random samples, we were tasked to come up with an outfit for summer. I called my project, the urban lady.. hah

Sewing, have no idea.. I was given a jean jacket and some weird tshirts..
YO.. sewing

Myra’s modeling my outfit. Peep the jean bandana with teal string. I even made a clutch out of the jacket. craze

Being born in SF, we’ve been moving in and out. Well, it’s that time again, and this time, we’re doing it for Brooklyn. She deserves being able to take walks during the day with her nanny and I’m sure in a few years we’ll be back. So come 2007, we’ll be completely moved out of our SF house and moving down south. Lucky for Fatlace.com and Potrero Hill we’re going to be uploading version 6.0 in the next month or so. I cannot wait for that, it’ll be sweet.

The hard thing about moving is that both Brooklyn, Cindy and the Nanny is sick. That mean, I’m pretty much doing everything! Doh..

So here it is.. Wednesday. Midway through Sema and after today it goes down hill from there. A few choices today as far as places to goto after todays meetings. 1. C16 2. Scion 3. Dub Party with Nas and Luda or 4. goto some exclusive CEC party at some golf resort..

We chose 1. C16 Party at Tao in the Venetian.. Ice logos are very popular in Vegas.

Tomorrow I have an interview at 930am.. Man, it’s going to be tough to make it to the show at that time, but I’ll try…

Back in 2003 I decided to put a semi-hold on Fatlace.com and decided to put more efforts into DriftUnit, a brand that deals with all things Drifting. What’s funny is that Driftunit is all about style and culture and the similarities between that and Fatlace aren’t much different. It’s 2006 and some may know that I’m developing a new Fatlace which will launch in 2007 and will bring a whole new perspective to “Collect Everything”. Here’s a collection of Sema cars that were built by friends in this industry. You’ll notice the tie into and crossover to streetwear brands.

Well, sort of. GM threw one of the biggest parties I’ve ever been to at Sema in the past 12 years that I’ve been attending the conference. It was at the Wynn. Sema is like the Magic for you clothing whores out there and like the Macworld for you macnuts. At the GM party, GM presented me with an award of excellence for doing an awesome job with the Solstice. OCC unveiled their F150 badass truck and Jay Leno just happened to unveil his masterpiece of a car that was powered by a turbine-powered EcoJet supercar. Some photos..

Well as many of you know and for those that don’t, General Motors gave me a car a lil over 4 month ago. A good friend of mines, Mr. Andy Williams (former editor of C16 Magazine) just happened to introduce me to the right guy at GM a lil over a year ago. They had me submit a render of their new sports car, the Pontiac Solstice, and 8 months later the car is in my garage. It was an awesome black on black leather, a perfect sunday cruiser waiting for me to get my hands on it. Well 4 months have past and in those months, I’ve been working with some of the best companies in the performance tuning market to make my render come to life. NO it’s not a car built for show, full of stereo junk and bondo, it’s a Grip Unit / Arcenal Time Attack machine that will be hitting the tracks in 2007 at various racing events nationwide. Our first stop was at Sema in Las Vegas for 1 week of showing the car off at none other than the premier show for automotive junkies. That’s right folks.. Las Vegas for one whole week. Hope we survive! Here’s some fotos from our trip here..

Here I am, loading up the trailer onto my borrowed trailer from Jay Graphtech (who also showed his S13 at Sema under Nitro Spark Plugs / Weapon R USA. Thanks Jay! Notice, I’m towing with the Chevy Truck! Gotta love GM! (Shameless Plugs)

Felix decided to join me and trailer his Lotus down where he displayed it for Nitro Spark Plugs.

When we arrived, I had to bring the car directly to a GM photoshoot and video taping. Right then and there, I felt honored to be in the company of some great builders who have been building cars for years for GM. It’s great to be in the GM family..

After 3 hours of shooting, the car sits in the KW booth, waiting for rearranging. I was hoping to lower the car more but If i did, the front bumper would have probably touched the carpet. I would have loved it but I dont think that’s what they were going after..

Carpet Taken off and in place..

Felix on the other hand finally got his car inside after waiting 7 hours! We still need to put his stickers on but at least the car is clean..

Im not so sure I know this guy but I do know he has great taste! He’s rocking the DriftUnit shoes!! Sweet!!shoot
Day2 Tomorrow!

Here is a super sneak preview of the project car which I will be debuting at Sema 2006 next week. It’s about 99% done with a few minor changes that will be done Saturday morning.
